Alexandru Hornea
Promoter of the “wear good shoes” concept, Alexandru Hornea lives and works in Bucharest. In his daily life, he dedicates his free time to his passion: photography.
He graduated from the specialized course at CdRF and published photographs in the local CVLTARTES and CLIVAJ. Two of his frames were included in the exhibitions organized by Filtru Cultural at CdRF and Teatrul Masca (Militari). A year and a half after purchasing his first film camera, he was nominated on the shortlist for the “Best analog photographer” category at the Romanian Visual Awards 2025.
His favorite type of photography is street photography and his style of invisible observer is felt. He has been practicing photography for about 7 years and considers himself an explorer who wants to see and bring to attention what the world passes by with his eyes. On a personal level, he sees this process as a way of disconnecting from everyday life but without social isolation, a path of personal development through art and a good opportunity to meet other people who share this passion.
